Evennett slams Network Rail for London Bridge failures

Southeastern with Claire PerryRt Hon David Evennett, MP for Bexleyheath and Crayford, has criticised the performance of Network Rail today after commuters experienced further problems at London Bridge (6 January).

Mr Evennett has made further representations to the Chief Executive, Mark Carne, about issues with signalling and the track that have caused widespread delays and cancellations on Southeastern services. In his communication to Mr Carne, Mr Evennett said:

I have been inundated with complaints about the problems affecting services at London Bridge, which are in addition to the problems on the South East network on Monday.

I would be grateful if you could advise me of the exact nature of the issues that have affected my constituents today, how they occurred and what will be done to prevent these issues from happening again.

My constituents have not had a positive experience of commuting at all this week.
