Evennett visits BCU Lifeskills Centre

Rt Hon David Evennett, MP for Bexleyheath and Crayford, paid a visit to Bexleyheath-based charity BCU Lifeskills Centre on Friday morning, 17 July.

The BCU Life Skills Centre, which holds drop-ins upstairs at Trinity Baptist Church in Bexleyheath, offers support, guidance and practical help to men and women experiencing unemployment, low income and other challenges in the Borough of Bexley.

He met with the Chairman of the Friends Group, Trish Giles, Centre Co-Ordinator Ellen Ewing and members of the Committee to discuss their recent grant funding and activities.

Mr Evennett said “I am a big supporter of BCU Lifeskills Centre as they do vitally important work for vulnerable members of our community. I attend the start of their Annual Fundraising Walk and often visit to support their activities.”
