Evennett places bet for charity

Rt Hon David Evennett, MP for Bexleyheath and Crayford, is pictured at Ladbrokes in Bexleyheath Broadway on Friday morning.

He was invited to learn about the initiatives being taken by the company to encourage responsible gambling and help for those who might have a problem.

In addition, he was invited to place a £50 bet on the Cheltenham Gold Cup for charity. He selected Many Clouds, at odds of 8/1 at the time of betting.

If he wins, the money will be donated to Bexleyheath and District Club for the Disabled.
