David Evennett, MP for Bexleyheath and Crayford, paid a visit to the recently opened Bexley Brewery in Slade Green on Friday morning, 28 November.
He met with owners and Borough residents Cliff and Jane Murphy at their site on the Manford Industrial Estate to see their brewing facilities and to sample the two beers currently on sale – BOB and Redhouse.
They sell to licenced premises such as pubs but also have on site sales through their shop and brewery tours.
Mr Evennett said “With the mass revival of real ales, I am delighted that Bexley has its own brewery again. There is so much in terms of new beers and micro-pubs in the market that the consumer is spoilt for choice. I hope that they will choose BOB or Redhouse when they see the Parakeet in their local.”
