MP pops in for a pint at the Penny Farthing

David Evennett, MP for Bexleyheath and Crayford, visited the new Penny Farthing micropub in Crayford on Thursday afternoon, 9 October.

The pub, which specialises in real ales, opened in September and has already been a big hit, with punters travelling in from Gravesend and Lewisham, as well as from within Bexley Borough.

Mr Evennett said “I am always delighted to welcome new businesses to the area and particularly one that has already been so successful. Real ale and brewing has made a comeback in recent years and the micropub movement is really growing. I wish Bob and Bev every success with this exciting new venture.”
