Coffee to go with Barnehurst commuters

David Evennett, MP for Bexleyheath and Crayford, helped to sell coffee and cakes in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support in Barnehurst this morning (26 September).

Local resident Ann Rawlings set up a stall outside her home to raise funds for the charity during the morning rush hour before hosting her annual coffee morning later on. In all, £561.15 was raised for Macmillan, including £140 from the commuter session.

Mr Evennett said “It was a pleasure to join Ann and other constituents this morning to help raise the funds Macmillan needs to continue their vital work. Their nurses and volunteers do so much to support us – the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning is our chance to do something for them.”
