Evennett takes part in Pelham School’s Future Heroes Day

David Evennett, MP for Bexleyheath and Crayford, was one of the special guests at Pelham Primary School in Bexleyheath on Friday morning for their “Future Heroes Day” event (9 May).

Children were encouraged to dress up as Heroes with many choosing to come as doctors, policemen, firemen, soldiers and various other professionals.

Mr Evennett spoke about what inspired him to become a Member of Parliament and how he achieved his dream. He also answered questions about his heroes, day to day life and experiences.

Other guests included Detective Chief Inspector Sean Yates of the Metropolitan Police, Louisa Pearce, a speech and language therapist and Amy Allen, Vice Principal of the Pauline Quirke Academy.
