David Evennett, MP for Bexleyheath and Crayford, had another full day of visits and meetings in the constituency on Friday, 4 April.
The day started with a visit to Hillsgrove Primary School in Sidmouth Road, Welling. He met with the Executive Head, Peter Wilson, and the Head of School, Peter Rhodes, to discuss the progress that the School has been making and the innovative partnership between Hillsgrove and Old Bexley Church of England School. Mr Evennett was given a tour of the site and met pupils during their classes.
At lunchtime, he attended a private viewing of the new exhibition at Danson House. “Things We Do in Bed” has been curated by novelist Tracy Chevalier and features a variety of quilt works that celebrates quilts’s continuing links to what goes on behind the bedroom door.
In the afternoon, he met with representatives of London and Quadrant at Baker Beall Court in Bexleyheath. Mr Evennett chatted with Assistant Director Michelle Martin and Care Manager Michelle Dobson about their ongoing plans and future proposals for sheltered housing in the Borough and constituency casework.
Finally, his regular surgery took place for constituents at 17 Church Road, Bexleyheath. For details of the next days, please check here.
