Evennett opens Crayford Fun Day

David Evennett MP officially opened the Crayford Fun Day held at the Waterside Gardens, Crayford, on Saturday 16 June. The event was organised by the Crayford Rotary and supported by local sponsors. There were a wide variety of stalls, games, duck races on the river Cray, Punch and Judy, bouncy castle, dance performances, gymnastics and the strong man competition.

Mr Evennett spoke of the uniqueness of Crayford town and the importance of celebrating the local community. He praised Crayford Rotary and the many supporters of the Fun Day.

Among the stalls were those run by the Friends of St Paulinus Church, the local NSPCC, the British Legion, the local Scouts and Guides, the Rotary, Crayford Forum and Macmillan.
