Barnehurst Ambulance Station Visit

David Evennett, MP for Bexleyheath and Crayford, visited the Barnehurst Ambulance Station on Friday afternoon (1 June). He met with the Station Manager Martin Cook and Communications Officer Laura Palts to discuss a variety of issues including staff numbers, shift patterns, the fleet, medical equipment, patient destinations and the Olympics.

Mr Evennett was also taken on a tour of the facilities, during which he spoke with staff, and was shown the inside of one of the new ambulances and the equipment on board by paramedic Bob Ash.

Duty Station Officer Andy Beasley also showed him one of the paramedic cars and the equipment he has to carry with him.
