Boris win good for Bexley

David Evennett MP has welcomed the re-election of London Mayor Boris Johnson as “good news for the whole of London – residents and businesses alike.”

Mr Evennett, who campaigned for Boris in the London election campaign, commented that “Boris is an excellent leader for London. He understands the needs and aspirations of the people of our great capital city and will promote the interests of London vigorously during the next four years.”

In Bexley and Bromley, Boris won by 67,424 votes. Across London, he won by 62,538, after second preferences were counted.

James Cleverly was returned as the London Assembly Member for Bexley and Bromley. Gareth Bacon, Andrew Boff and Victoria Borwick were all re-elected as London-wide members of the Assembly.
