Local MP views Slade Green regeneration plans

David Evennett, MP for Bexleyheath and Crayford, is pictured at the Howbury Centre in Slade Green on Friday morning (16 December), during a visit to view Bexley Council’s and Redrow’s plans for the site.

The regeneration of the site will include 380 new homes, improved community and library facilities and more school places.

Mr Evennett spoke with Chris Sparks, the Land Director for Redrow, about the need for houses with gardens, rather than just flats, parking and play areas.

He is pictured with Kevin Taylor and Colin McBride of Bexley Council, with whom he spoke about the size of the new community space and library facilities.
