I was appalled to learn of the incidents that took place in Bexleyheath on Monday morning, which resulted in one lady losing her life and another being injured.
My sincere condolances go out to the family and friends of Sally Hodkin at this tragic time.
Since these terrible events took place, I have liaised with the Chief Executive of Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust, Stephen Firn, and the Bexley Police Borough Commander Ch Supt Dave Stringer.
I will continue to monitor the situation very carefully and maintain contact with the authorities.
