Unite in the Fight against breast cancer

David Evennett, MP for Bexleyheath and Crayford, met campaigners from Breakthrough Breast Cancer during an event at the House of Commons on Monday 12 July.

They are campaigning to help improve outcomes for people with breast cancer, address the inequalities that exist in breast cancer care and create a future free from fear of the disease.

46,000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer each year in the UK, and one in nine women will develop the disease at some point in their lifetime.

You can find out more about the campaign, and further advice, at www.breakthrough.org.uk.
